حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَتْ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ { يُبَايِعْنَكَ عَلَى أَنْ لَا يُشْرِكْنَ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا إِلَى قَوْلِهِ وَلَا يَعْصِينَكَ فِي مَعْرُوفٍ } قَالَتْ كَانَ مِنْهُ النِّيَاحَةُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِلَّا آلَ فُلَانٍ فَإِنَّهُمْ قَدْ كَانُوا أَسْعَدُونِي فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَلَا بُدَّ لِي مِنْ أَنْ أُسْعِدَهُمْ قَالَتْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا آلَ فُلَانٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Umm 'Atiyyah said: When this verse was revealed - 'They pledge to you that they will not associate anything with Allah... and will not disobey you in what is right' [60:12] - she said: Among what it referred to was wailing. I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, except for the family of so-and-so, for they helped me during the pre-Islamic period, so I must help them.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Except for the family of so-and-so.'
