حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنِي حَيَّةُ بْنُ حَابِسٍ التَّمِيمِيُّ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا شَيْءَ فِي الْهَامِ وَالْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ وَأَصْدَقُ الطِّيَرَةِ الْفَأْلُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hayyah ibn Habis al-Tamimi narrated that his father informed him that he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: 'There is nothing in the hooting of owls; the evil eye is real; and the truest form of omen is the good omen (al-fa'l).'
