حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ إِنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ يَأْتِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعَهُ ابْنٌ لَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتُحِبُّهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَحَبَّكَ اللَّهُ كَمَا أُحِبُّهُ فَفَقَدَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ مَا فَعَلَ ابْنُ فُلَانٍ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَاتَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَبِيهِ أَمَا تُحِبُّ أَنْ لَا تَأْتِيَ بَابًا مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ إِلَّا وَجَدْتَهُ يَنْتَظِرُكَ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَهُ خَاصَّةً أَوْ لِكُلِّنَا قَالَ بَلْ لِكُلِّكُمْ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ قُرَّةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ يَأْتِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' narrated to us: Shu'ba narrated to us, from Mu'awiya b. Qurra, from his father, who said: A man used to come to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, accompanied by a son of his. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him: "Do you love him?" He said: "O Messenger of God, may God love you as I love him." Then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, missed him, and asked: "What became of the son of so-and-so?" They said: "O Messenger of God, he died." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to his father: "Would you not love that you should approach no gate among the gates of Paradise without finding him there waiting for you?" The man said: "O Messenger of God, is that for him alone, or for all of us?" He said: "Rather, for all of you." Muhammad b. Ja'far narrated to us: Shu'ba informed us, saying: I heard Mu'awiya b. Qurra narrating from his father that a man used to come to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he mentioned the like of it.
