حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الثَّقَفِيُّ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ وَهُوَ رَافِعٌ غُصْنًا مِنْ أَغْصَانِ الشَّجَرَةِ بِيَدِهِ عَنْ رَأْسِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُبَايِعُ النَّاسَ فَبَايَعُوهُ عَلَى أَنْ لَا يَفِرُّوا وَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَلْفٌ وَأَرْبَعُ مِائَةٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَمَانٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ خَالِدٍ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ الْأَعْرَجِ { يَدُ اللَّهِ فَوْقَ أَيْدِيهِمْ } قَالَ أَنْ لَا يَفِرُّوا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Wahhab ibn Abd al-Majid al-Thaqafi, Abu Muhammad, told us: Khalid told us, from al-Hakam ibn Abdullah al-A'raj, from Ma'qil ibn Yasar, that he witnessed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Day of al-Hudaybiyyah, raising a branch of the tree with his hand from over the head of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), while he took the pledge of allegiance from the people; they pledged to him not to flee, and they numbered on that day one thousand four hundred. Abdullah told us: Ubaydullah ibn Umar al-Qawariri told us: Yahya ibn Yaman told us, from Sufyan, from Khalid, from al-Hakam ibn al-A'raj, regarding "The Hand of Allah is above their hands" - he said: "[It means] that they should not flee."
