حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ أَمْلَاهُ عَلَيَّ سُفْيَانُ إِلَى شُعْبَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ مُرَّةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْمُعَلِّمُ حَدَّثَنِي طَلِيقُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ أَخُو أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَدْعُو رَبِّ أَعِنِّي وَلَا تُعِنْ عَلَيَّ وَانْصُرْنِي وَلَا تَنْصُرْ عَلَيَّ وَامْكُرْ لِي وَلَا تَمْكُرْ عَلَيَّ وَاهْدِنِي وَيَسِّرْ الْهُدَى إِلَيَّ وَانْصُرْنِي عَلَى مَنْ بَغَى عَلَيَّ رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي لَكَ شَكَّارًا لَكَ ذَكَّارًا لَكَ رَهَّابًا لَكَ مِطْوَاعًا إِلَيْكَ مُخْبِتًا لَكَ أَوَّاهًا مُنِيبًا رَبِّ تَقَبَّلْ تَوْبَتِي وَاغْسِلْ حَوْبَتِي وَأَجِبْ دَعْوَتِي وَثَبِّتْ حُجَّتِي وَاهْدِ قَلْبِي وَسَدِّدْ لِسَانِي وَاسْلُلْ سَخِيمَةَ قَلْبِي.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to supplicate: "O my Lord, help me and do not help others against me; grant me victory and do not grant others victory over me; plan for me and do not plan against me; guide me and make guidance easy for me; grant me victory over those who wrong me. O my Lord, make me deeply grateful to You, constantly remembering You, fearful of You, obedient to You, humbly turning to You, penitent and returning to You. O my Lord, accept my repentance, wash away my sin, answer my supplication, establish my proof, guide my heart, make my tongue truthful, and remove the rancor from my heart."
