حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَحْيَى مِنْ أَهْلِ مَرْوٍ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ وِقَاءَ بْنِ إِيَاسٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ قَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخَطَبَ فَنَهَى عَنْ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ مِثْلَهُ حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ وَعَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ.

Al-Hasan ibn Yahya of the people of Marw and Ali ibn Ishaq told us, they said: Ibn al-Mubarak informed us, from Wiqa' ibn Iyas, from Ali ibn Rabi'ah, from Samurah, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, stood and delivered a sermon in which he forbade the dubba' (gourd vessel) and the muzaffat (pitch-coated vessel). Abd Allah told us, Ahmad ibn Jamil told us, Ibn al-Mubarak told us the like of it. Khalaf ibn Hisham and Abd al-Wahid ibn Ghiyath told us, they said: Abu Awanah told us, from al-Aswad ibn Qays, from Tha'labah, from Samurah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, the like of it.
