Yazid told us, Hisham and Rawh informed us - Rawh said: Hisham told us - from al-Hasan, from Imran ibn Husayn, who said: We traveled by night with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and when it was the last part of the night, we stopped to rest, and we did not wake up until the heat of the sun woke us. Each man among us began to get up in confusion to perform his purification. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded them to be calm. Then we set off and traveled until, when the sun had risen high, he performed ablution, then commanded Bilal, who gave the call to prayer, then he prayed the two rak'ahs before dawn prayer, then the call was made to stand and we prayed. They said: "O Messenger of Allah, shall we not repeat it at its proper time tomorrow?" He said: "Would your Lord, Blessed and Exalted, forbid you usury and then accept it from you?" Mu'awiyah told us, Za'idah told us, from Hisham, who said: Al-Hasan claimed that Imran ibn Husayn told him: "We traveled by night with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, one night," and he related the report.
