حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّهُ لَقِيَ رَجُلًا بِمَكَّةَ فَحَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا نَذْرَ فِي غَضَبٍ وَكَفَّارَتُهُ كَفَّارَةُ يَمِينٍ.

Isma'il ibn Ibrahim told us, from Muhammad ibn az-Zubayr, my father told me, that he met a man in Makkah who told him, from Imran ibn Husayn, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "There is no vow in anger, and its expiation is the expiation of an oath."
