حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَتِيقٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ سِتَّةَ أَعْبُدٍ لَهُ فَأَقْرَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَرَقَّ أَرْبَعَةً قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ لَوْ لَمْ يَبْلُغْنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَهُ لَجَعَلْتُهُ رَأْيِي.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya ibn Ishaq told us, Hammad ibn Zayd informed us, from Yahya ibn Atiq, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Imran ibn Husayn, that a man freed six of his slaves, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, drew lots among them, and freed two and left four in slavery. Muhammad ibn Sirin said: "Had it not reached me that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said this, I would have made it my own opinion."
