حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مِغْوَلٍ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا رُقْيَةَ إِلَّا مِنْ عَيْنٍ أَوْ حُمَةٍ.

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, Malik — meaning Ibn Mighwal — informed us, from Husayn, from al-Shabi, from Imran ibn Husayn, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'There is no ruqyah (healing recitation) except for the evil eye or a venomous sting.'
