حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَجَّاجٌ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَمْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ زَهْدَمَ بْنَ مُضَرِّبٍ قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ جَاءَنِي زَهْدَمٌ فِي دَارِي فَحَدَّثَنِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ خَيْرَكُمْ قَرْنِي ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ قَالَ عِمْرَانُ فَلَا أَدْرِي قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَ قَرْنِهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثَةً ثُمَّ يَكُونُ بَعْدَهُمْ قَوْمٌ يَشْهَدُونَ وَلَا يُسْتَشْهَدُونَ وَيَخُونُونَ وَلَا يُؤْتَمَنُونَ وَيَنْذُرُونَ وَلَا يُوفُونَ وَيَظْهَرُ فِيهِمْ السِّمَنُ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَمْرَةَ يَقُولُ جَاءَنِي زَهْدَمٌ فِي دَارِي فَحَدَّثَنِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ خَيْرَكُمْ قَرْنِي فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَيَخُونُونَ وَلَا يُؤْتَمَنُونَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Jafar narrated to us, Shubah narrated to us; and Hajjaj informed us, Shubah narrated, saying: I heard Abu Jamrah say: I heard Zahdam ibn Mudarrib say — Hajjaj said in his narration: Imran ibn Husayn came to us and said — I was with Imran ibn Husayn, and he never narrated a hadith to me except that I found it to be true. He narrated to me that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The best of you are my generation, then those who follow them, then those who follow them.' He said: 'I do not know whether he mentioned two or three after his own generation.' Then the Prophet said: 'After you there will come people who testify without being asked, who betray and cannot be trusted, who make vows and do not fulfill them, and obesity will appear among them.'
