حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنِي شَدَّادُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّاسِبِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيَّ يَقُولُ قَتَلْتُ عَبْدَ الْعُزَّى بْنَ خَطَلٍ وَهُوَ مُتَعَلِّقٌ بِسِتْرِ الْكَعْبَةِ وَقُلْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مُرْنِي بِعَمَلٍ أَعْمَلُهُ فَقَالَ أَمِطْ الْأَذَى عَنْ الطَّرِيقِ فَهُوَ لَكَ صَدَقَةٌ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ismail narrated to us, Shaddad ibn Said narrated to me, Jabir ibn Amr al-Rasibi narrated to me, saying: I heard Abu Barzah al-Aslami say: I killed Abd al-Uzza ibn Khatal while he was clinging to the curtain of the Kaaba. And I said to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): 'O Messenger of Allah, command me with a deed to perform.' He said: 'Remove harmful things from the road, for it is charity for you.'
