الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi told us: Sufyan told us, from Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid, from his brother, from Abu Burdah, from Abu Musa, who said: Two men of the Ash'aris came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and they began to hint about seeking a position. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The most treacherous of you in my sight is the one who seeks it."
