الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ya'qub told us: my father told us, from Salih, who said: Abu al-Zinad related that Abu Salama informed him that Abd al-Rahman b. Nafi' b. Abd al-Harith al-Khuza'i informed him that Abu Musa informed him that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was in a garden in Madina, sitting on the edge of a well with his legs dangling, when Abu Bakr, may Allah Almighty be pleased with him, knocked on the door. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Let him in and give him glad tidings of Paradise." So it was done, and Abu Bakr, may Allah Almighty be pleased with him, entered and let his legs dangle too. Then Umar, may Allah Almighty be pleased with him, knocked on the door. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Let him in and give him glad tidings of Paradise." So it was done. Then Uthman b. Affan, may Allah Almighty be pleased with him, knocked on the door. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Let him in and give him glad tidings of Paradise, along with a trial he will face." So it was done.
