Abu Mu'awiya told us: al-A'mash told us, from Ibrahim, from Sahm b. Minjab, from al-Qarth', who said: When Abu Musa al-Ash'ari became gravely ill, his wife cried out, so he said to her, "Do you not know what the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said?" She said, "Yes," then she fell silent. When he died, she was asked, "What did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say?" She said, "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed whoever shaves, or tears, or wails."
