حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أَرَى أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَيْتِ أَوْ مَا ذَكَرَ مِنْ هَذَا.

Abd al-Rahman b. Mahdi told us: Sufyan told us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Aswad, who said: Abu Musa said: "I came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while I thought that Abdullah was among the people of the household," or something similar to this that he mentioned.
