حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ عَمْرٌو أَخْبَرَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَمَانِيًا جَمِيعًا وَسَبْعًا جَمِيعًا قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ يَا أَبَا الشَّعْثَاءِ أَظُنُّهُ أَخَّرَ الظُّهْرَ وَعَجَّلَ الْعَصْرَ وَأَخَّرَ الْمَغْرِبَ وَعَجَّلَ الْعِشَاءَ قَالَ وَأَنَا أَظُنَّ ذَلِكَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
I prayed with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) eight (rak'ahs) combined and seven combined. I said to Abu al-Sha'tha': "I think he delayed Dhuhr and hastened 'Asr, and delayed Maghrib and hastened 'Isha." He said: "And I think the same."
