الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yazid narrated to us: Zakariyya ibn Abi Za’idah and Asim al-Ahwal informed us, from al-Sha’bi, from Adi ibn Hatim, who said: I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about hunting with the mi’rad. He said, "What it strikes with its sharp edge, eat; and what it strikes with its broad side is a beast killed by a blow." And I asked about hunting with a dog, and he said, "When you release your dog and mention the name of Allah over it, and it catches game for you, then eat; and if you find another dog with it, not your own, and it has killed the game, and you fear it caught it together with yours, then do not eat, for you mentioned the name of Allah over your own dog only, and did not mention it over the other."
