حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ قَالَ لَقِيتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ وَهُوَ دَاخِلٌ عَلَى الْمُخْتَارِ أَوْ خَارِجٌ مِنْ عِنْدِهِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ أَسَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنِّي تَارِكٌ فِيكُمْ الثَّقَلَيْنِ قَالَ نَعَمْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Aswad ibn Amir told us: Isra'il told us, from Uthman ibn al-Mughirah, from Ali ibn Rabi'ah, who said: I met Zayd ibn Arqam as he was going in to al-Mukhtar or coming out from him, and I said to him: Did you hear the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: I am leaving behind among you the two weighty matters? He said: Yes.
