Affan and Mu'ammal told us: Hammad ibn Salamah told us: Qays ibn Sa'd told us, from Ata': that Ibn Abbas said: O Zayd ibn Arqam, do you not know that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was given a piece of game meat while in the state of ihram, and he did not accept it? He said: Yes. Mu'ammal said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, returned it and said: We are in the state of ihram. He said: Yes.
