حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ قَالَ جَرِيرٌ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نَظْرَةِ الْفَجْأَةِ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَصْرِفَ بَصَرِي.

Isma'il told us, from Yunus, from Amr ibn Sa'id, from Abu Zur'a ibn Amr ibn Jarir, who said: Jarir said: I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about the sudden glance, and he commanded me to turn my gaze away.
