حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ يَعْنِي الشَّيْبَانِيَّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ.

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, Abu Ishaq, that is al-Shaybani, narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa, may Allah Almighty be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade eating the meat of domestic donkeys.
