Muhammad ibn Muqatil al-Marwazi told us: 'Abbad ibn al-'Awwam informed us: al-Hajjaj told us, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Abdullah, client of Banu Hashim, who said - and he was trustworthy, and al-Hakam used to take [narrations] from him - from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Usayd ibn Hudayr, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that he was asked about the milk of camels, and he said, "Perform ablution from its milk," and he was asked about the milk of sheep, and he said, "Do not perform ablution from its milk."
