حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أُسَيْدِ بْنِ حُضَيْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَا تَسْتَعْمِلُنِي كَمَا اسْتَعْمَلْتَ فُلَانًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَتَلْقَوْنَ بَعْدِي أَثَرَةً فَاصْبِرُوا حَتَّى تَلْقَوْنِي غَدًا عَلَى الْحَوْضِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yazid ibn Harun told us: Shu'bah informed us, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik, from Usayd ibn Hudayr, may Allah Almighty be pleased with him, who said: A man from the Ansar said, "O Messenger of Allah, will you not employ me as you employed so-and-so?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You will encounter, after me, favoritism [shown to others]; so be patient until you meet me tomorrow at the Basin."
