حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ شَيْبَانَ عَنْ أَبِي نَوْفَلِ بْنِ أَبِي عَقْرَبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الصَّوْمِ فَقَالَ صُمْ مِنْ الشَّهْرِ يَوْمًا قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَقْوَى فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي أَقْوَى إِنِّي أَقْوَى صُمْ يَوْمَيْنِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ زِدْنِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زِدْنِي زِدْنِي ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' narrated to us, al-Aswad ibn Shayban narrated to us, from Abu Nawfal ibn Abi Aqrab, from his father, who said: I asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, about fasting. He said, "Fast one day of the month." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I am strong (able to do more)." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "You are strong, you are strong - fast two days of every month." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, give me more." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Give me more, give me more - three days of every month."
