حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ وَالثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ قَالَ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأْتَ فَانْتَثِرْ وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرْتَ فَأَوْتِرْ.

Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ma'mar and al-Thawri told us, from Mansur, from Hilal ibn Yasaf, from Salamah ibn Qays, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to me, "When you perform ablution, blow water out of your nose, and when you clean yourself with stones, do so an odd number of times."
