حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ أَنَّ سُبَيْعَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيَّةَ تُوُفِّيَ عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا وَهِيَ حَامِلٌ فَلَمْ تَمْكُثْ إِلَّا لَيَالِيَ حَتَّى وَضَعَتْ فَلَمَّا تَعَلَّتْ مِنْ نِفَاسِهَا خُطِبَتْ فَاسْتَأْذَنَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي النِّكَاحِ فَأَذِنَ لَهَا أَنْ تَنْكِحَ فَنَكَحَتْ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ قَالَ وَضَعَتْ سُبَيْعَةُ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ.

Hammad bin Usamah told us: Hisham informed us, from his father, from al-Miswar bin Makhramah, that Subay'ah al-Aslamiyyah's husband died while she was pregnant. She did not remain more than a few nights before she gave birth. When she had recovered from her postpartum bleeding, she was proposed to, so she asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for permission to marry, and he permitted her to marry, so she married. Abu Mu'awiyah told us: Hisham told us, from his father, from Asim bin Umar, from al-Miswar bin Makhramah, who said: Subay'ah gave birth - and he mentioned the hadith.
