حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُخَارِقٍ عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ قَدِمَ وَفْدُ بَجِيلَةَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اكْسُوا الْبَجَلِيِّينَ وَابْدَءُوا بِالْأَحْمَسِيِّينَ قَالَ فَتَخَلَّفَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قَيْسٍ قَالَ حَتَّى أَنْظُرَ مَا يَقُولُ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَدَعَا لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَمْسَ مَرَّاتٍ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ فِيهِمْ مُخَارِقٌ الَّذِي يَشُكُّ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Mukhariq, from Tariq ibn Shihab, who said: A delegation of Bajilah came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Clothe the Bajalis, and begin with the Ahmasis." He said: A man of Qays held back, saying: "Let me see what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) says about them." He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed for them five times: "O Allah, bless them," or "O Allah, grant them blessing" - Mukhariq being the one uncertain about the exact wording.
