حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُخَارِقِ بْنِ خَلِيفَةَ الْأَحْمَسِيِّ عَنْ طَارِقٍ أَنَّ الْمِقْدَادَ قَالَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا لَا نَقُولُ لَكَ كَمَا قَالَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ لِمُوسَى { اذْهَبْ أَنْتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَاتِلَا إِنَّا هَاهُنَا قَاعِدُونَ } وَلَكِنْ اذْهَبْ أَنْتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَاتِلَا إِنَّا مَعَكُمْ مُقَاتِلُونَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' told us: Sufyan told us, from Mukhariq ibn Khalifah al-Ahmasi, from Tariq, that al-Miqdad said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of Badr: "O Messenger of Allah, we do not say to you as the Children of Israel said to Moses: 'Go, you and your Lord, and fight; we will stay here sitting.' Rather, go, you and your Lord, and fight; we will fight along with you."
