Abd al-Samad told us: Imran - meaning al-Qattan - told us: I heard al-Hasan narrate from Jundub that a man was afflicted with a wound and was carried to his house; his wound caused him such pain that he drew an arrow from his quiver and stabbed himself in the throat with it. This was mentioned before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said, relating from his Lord, Mighty and Majestic: "He has raced ahead of Me by taking his own life."
