Ziyad ibn 'Abdullah al-Bakka'i told us, he said: Mansur and al-A'mash told us, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from Abu al-Sanabil, who said: Subay'ah gave birth twenty-three or twenty-five nights after the death of her husband, and she made herself presentable for remarriage. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was approached and informed, and he said: If she does so, her waiting period has already passed.
