حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا دَاوُدُ وَابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَن دَاوُدَ الْمَعْنَى عَن عَامِرٍ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لَا يَذْبَحَنَّ أَحَدٌ قَبْلَ أَنْ نُصَلِّيَ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ خَالِي وَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَذَا يَوْمٌ اللَّحْمُ فِيهِ كَثِيرٌ قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ مَكْرُوهٌ وَإِنِّي ذَبَحْتُ نُسُكِي قَبْلُ لِيَأْكُلَ أَهْلِي وَجِيرَانِي وَعِنْدِي عَنَاقُ لَبَنٍ خَيْرٌ مِنْ شَاتَيْ لَحْمٍ فَأَذْبَحُهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَا تُجْزِئُ جَذَعَةٌ عَنْ أَحَدٍ بَعْدَكَ وَهِيَ خَيْرُ نَسِيكَتَيْكَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yazid narrated to us: Dawud and Ibn Abi 'Adiyy, from Dawud — the wording being close in meaning — informed us, from 'Amir, from al-Bara' bin 'Azib: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said — Ibn Abi 'Adiyy's wording has: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, delivered a sermon to us and said: 'Let no one slaughter before we pray.' Then my maternal uncle stood up to him and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, this is a day on which meat is abundant' — Ibn Abi 'Adiyy said: meaning it was disliked to slaughter early — 'and I have already slaughtered my sacrificial animal so that my family and neighbors could eat, and I have a milk-yielding young she-goat that is better than two sheep of meat; shall I slaughter it?' He said: 'Yes, but a yearling (jadh'ah) will not suffice as a sacrifice for anyone after you, and it is the better of your two sacrificial animals.'
