حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ بِالْعَبَّاسِ قَدْ أَسَرَهُ فَقَالَ الْعَبَّاسُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَيْسَ هَذَا أَسَرَنِي أَسَرَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْقَوْمِ أَنْزِعُ مِنْ هَيْئَتِهِ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلرَّجُلِ لَقَدْ آزَرَكَ اللَّهُ بِمَلَكٍ كَرِيمٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Ahmad told us: Sufyan told us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Bara' or someone else, who said: A man from the Ansar came bringing al-Abbas, having captured him. Al-Abbas said, "O Messenger of Allah, this is not the one who captured me; I was captured by a man among the people—I can identify his appearance, such-and-such." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to the man, "Allah has indeed supported you with a noble angel."
