حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ جَاءَتْ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ زَوْجَهَا وَقَعَ عَلَى جَارِيَتِهَا فَقَالَ سَأَقْضِي فِي ذَلِكَ بِقَضَاءِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنْ كُنْتِ أَحْلَلْتِيهَا لَهُ ضَرَبْتُهُ مِائَةَ سَوْطٍ وَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُونِي أَحْلَلْتِيهَا لَهُ رَجَمْتُهُ.

Ali b. Asim told us, from Khalid al-Hadhdha', from Habib b. Salim, from al-Nu'man b. Bashir, who said: A woman came to al-Nu'man b. Bashir and said, "My husband had relations with her slave girl." He said, "I shall judge in this matter with the judgment of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: if you permitted it to him, I shall strike him a hundred lashes; and if you did not permit it to him, I shall stone him."
