حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ نَاجِيَةَ الْعَنَزِيِّ قَالَ تَدَارَأَ عَمَّارٌ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فِي التَّيَمُّمِ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ لَوْ مَكَثْتُ شَهْرًا لَا أَجِدُ فِيهِ الْمَاءَ لَمَا صَلَّيْتُ فَقَالَ لَهُ عَمَّارٌ أَمَا تَذْكُرُ إِذْ كُنْتُ أَنَا وَأَنْتَ فِي الْإِبِلِ فَأَجْنَبْتُ فَتَمَعَّكْتُ تَمَعُّكَ الدَّابَّةِ فَلَمَّا رَجَعْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِالَّذِي صَنَعْتُ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا كَانَ يَكْفِيكَ التَّيَمُّمُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash narrated to us: Abu Ishaq narrated to us, from Najiyah al-Anazi, who said: Ammar and Abdullah ibn Mas'ud disputed about tayammum. Abdullah said: If I were to remain a month without finding water, I would not pray. Ammar said to him: Do you not remember when you and I were among the camels and I became junub (ritually impure) and rolled about like an animal rolls? Then when I returned to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and told him what I had done, he said: It would only have sufficed you to do tayammum.
