حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْقِلٍ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ الطَّائِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ.

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Abdullah ibn Ma'qil, from Adi ibn Hatim al-Ta'i, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Guard yourselves against the Fire, even with half a date.
