حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الشَّعْبِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَدِيَّ بْنَ حَاتِمٍ وَكَانَ لَنَا جَارًا أَوْ دَخِيلًا وَرَبِيطًا بِالنَّهْرَيْنِ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أُرْسِلُ كَلْبِي فَأَجِدُ مَعَ كَلْبِي كَلْبًا قَدْ أَخَذَ لَا أَدْرِي أَيُّهُمَا أَخَذَ قَالَ فَلَا تَأْكُلْ فَإِنَّمَا سَمَّيْتَ عَلَى كَلْبِكَ وَلَمْ تُسَمِّ عَلَى غَيْرِهِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Masruq, who said: Al-Sha'bi narrated to us: I heard Adi ibn Hatim - who was our neighbor, or a resident among us, and one who was tied by kinship at al-Nahrayn - that he asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: I release my dog and find with my dog another dog which has caught the game, and I do not know which of them caught it. He said: Then do not eat it, for you only mentioned Allah's name over your own dog, not over the other. Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam, from al-Sha'bi, from Adi ibn Hatim, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, the like of that.
