Waki' told us, Mis'ar told us, from Abu Sakhrah, from al-Mughirah ibn Abdullah, from al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah, who said: I spent a night with the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him. He ordered a side of meat to be roasted, then took the knife and began cutting pieces of it for me. Bilal came to notify him of the prayer, so he threw down the knife and said, "What is the matter with him — may his hands be covered in dust!" He said: My mustache had grown long, and he trimmed it for me with a tooth-stick, or he said, "I will trim it for you with a tooth-stick."
