حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخَذَ بِحُجْزَةِ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سَهْلٍ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ يَا سُفْيَانُ بْنَ أَبِي سَهْلٍ لَا تُسْبِلْ إِزَارَكَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُسْبِلِينَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hashim ibn al-Qasim told us, Sharik told us, from Abd al-Malik ibn Umayr, from Husayn, from al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah, who said: I saw the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, take hold of the waist-wrap of Sufyan ibn Abi Sahl, saying, "O Sufyan ibn Abi Sahl, do not let your lower garment trail below your ankles, for God does not love those who let their garments trail."
