حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ أَنَّ أَبَا الْغَرِيفِ حَدَّثَهُمْ قَالَ قَالَ صَفْوَانُ بَعَثَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَرِيَّةٍ قَالَ سِيرُوا بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ تُقَاتِلُونَ أَعْدَاءَ اللَّهِ لَا تَغُلُّوا وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا وَلِيدًا وَلِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ إِذَا أَدْخَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ عَلَى طُهُورٍ وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It was narrated to us by Aswad ibn Amir, who said: it was reported to us by Zuhayr, from Abu Rawq al-Hamdani, that Abu al-Gharif narrated to them, saying: Safwan said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent us out on a military detachment and said, "Go forth in the name of Allah, in the path of Allah, fighting the enemies of Allah. Do not embezzle from the spoils, and do not kill any child. The traveler has three days and their nights during which he may wipe over his leather socks if he had put his feet into them in a state of purity, and the resident has a day and a night."
