حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شِمْرِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ عَنْ وَابِصَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ قَالَ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ صَلَّى خَلْفَ الصُّفُوفِ وَحْدَهُ فَقَالَ يُعِيدُ الصَّلَاةَ.

Abu Mu'awiyah told us, al-A'mash told us, from Shimr ibn Atiyyah, from Hilal ibn Yisaf, from Wabisah ibn Ma'bad, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was asked about a man who prayed behind the rows alone, and he said, "He must repeat the prayer."
