حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي قَيْسٍ مَوْلَى عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ عَن عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ فَصْلًا مَا بَيْنَ صِيَامِنَا وَصِيَامِ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ أَكْلَةُ السَّحَرِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi told us, Musa told us, from his father, from Abu Qais, the freed slave of Amr ibn al-As, from Amr ibn al-As, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The difference between our fasting and the fasting of the People of the Book is the pre-dawn meal (suhur)."
