حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى فِي يَدِي خَاتَمًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَجَعَلَ يَقْرَعُ يَدَهُ بِعُودٍ مَعَهُ فَغَفَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْهُ فَأَخَذَ الْخَاتَمَ فَرَمَى بِهِ فَنَظَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمْ يَرَهُ فِي إِصْبَعِهِ فَقَالَ مَا أُرَانَا إِلَّا قَدْ أَوْجَعْنَاكَ وَأَغْرَمْنَاكَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan told us, Wuhayb told us, he said al-Nu'man ibn Rashid told us, from al-Zuhri, from Ata' ibn Yazid al-Laythi, from Abu Tha'labah al-Khushani, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saw on my hand a ring of gold, so he began striking my hand with a stick he had with him, then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, became inattentive to it, so I took the ring and threw it away. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, looked and did not see it on my finger, so he said: I think we have hurt you and cost you something.
