حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُسْرٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْبَلُ الْهَدِيَّةَ وَلَا يَقْبَلُ الصَّدَقَةَ.

Hisham ibn Sa'id told us, al-Hasan ibn Ayyub al-Hadrami narrated to me, who said: Abdullah ibn Busr narrated to me, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to accept gifts but would not accept charity.
