حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ قَالَ لَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ حَدِيثًا مُنْذُ زَمَانٍ إِذَا كُنْتَ فِي قَوْمٍ عِشْرِينَ رَجُلًا أَوْ أَقَلَّ أَوْ أَكْثَرَ فَتَصَفَّحْتَ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ فَلَمْ تَرَ فِيهِمْ رَجُلًا يُهَابُ فِي اللَّهِ فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ الْأَمْرَ قَدْ رَقَّ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Mughirah told us, Safwan told us, Azhar ibn Abdullah told us, from Abdullah ibn Busr, who said: I heard a saying long ago: 'If you are among a group of twenty men, or fewer, or more, and you look over their faces and do not find among them a man who is held in awe for the sake of Allah, then know that the matter has grown thin.'
