الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Mughira narrated to us: Sulayman b. Sulaym al-Kinani narrated to us: Yahya b. Jabir al-Ta'i narrated to us, who said: I heard al-Miqdam b. Ma'dikarib al-Kindi say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The son of Adam has never filled a vessel worse than his belly. It is sufficient for the son of Adam to have a few mouthfuls to keep his back upright; and if he must fill it, then let a third be for food, a third for drink, and a third for his breath."
