حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَالثَّوْرِيُّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو الْبَدْرِيَّ يَقُولُ قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ مِمَّا أَدْرَكَ النَّاسُ مِنْ كَلَامِ النُّبُوَّةِ الْأُولَى إِذَا لَمْ تَسْتَحْيِ فَاصْنَعْ مَا شِئْتَ.

Rawh narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah and al-Thawri narrated to us, they said: Mansur narrated to us from Rib'i ibn Hirash, who said: I heard Abu Mas'ud Uqbah ibn Amr al-Badri say: The Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Among what people have retained from the words of the earlier prophethood is: If you feel no shame, then do as you wish.
