قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ قَالَ أَبِي و حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ صَلَّى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ بِالْحُدَيْبِيَةِ عَلَى أَثَرِ سَمَاءٍ كَانَتْ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى النَّاسِ قَالَ هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَاذَا قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ قَالُوا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ أَصْبَحَ مِنْ عِبَادِي مُؤْمِنٌ بِي قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ كَافِرٌ بِالْكَوْكَبِ وَمُؤْمِنٌ بِالْكَوْكَبِ كَافِرٌ بِي فَأَمَّا مَنْ قَالَ مُطِرْنَا بِفَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِ فَذَلِكَ مُؤْمِنٌ بِي كَافِرٌ بِالْكَوْكَبِ وَأَمَّا مَنْ قَالَ مُطِرْنَا بِنَوْءِ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَذَلِكَ كَافِرٌ بِي مُؤْمِنٌ بِالْكَوْكَبِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
He said: I read to Abd al-Rahman: Malik. My father said: and Ishaq narrated to us, he said: Malik narrated to us, from Salih ibn Kaysan, from Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah, from Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, led us in the dawn prayer at al-Hudaybiyah following a rain that had fallen during the night. When he finished, he turned to face the people and said, "Do you know what your Lord has said?" They said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "Some of My servants awoke as believers in Me" - Ishaq said: "and disbelievers in the star, while others awoke as believers in the star and disbelievers in Me. As for the one who says, 'We were given rain by the bounty of Allah and His mercy,' that one is a believer in Me and a disbeliever in the star. And as for the one who says, 'We were given rain by such-and-such a star,' that one is a disbeliever in Me and a believer in the star."
