حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُبَارَكٍ الْهُنَائِيُّ بَصْرِيٌّ ثِقَةٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا.

Isma'il ibn Ibrahim told us, saying: Ali ibn al-Mubarak al-Hunai, a Basran, trustworthy, told us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Abu Salamah, from Busr ibn Sa'id, from Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever equips a fighter has himself taken part in the fighting, and whoever looks after his family in his place has himself taken part in the fighting."
