حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حَنَشٌ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رُوَيْفِعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ غَزْوَةَ جَرَبَّةَ فَقَسَمَهَا عَلَيْنَا وَقَالَ لَنَا رُوَيْفِعٌ مَنْ أَصَابَ مِنْ هَذَا السَّبْيِ فَلَا يَطَؤُهَا حَتَّى تَحِيضَ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَحِلُّ لِرَجُلٍ أَنْ يَسْقِيَ مَاءَهُ وَلَدَ غَيْرِهِ.

Hasan ibn Musa told us, saying: Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from al-Harith ibn Yazid, saying: Hanash told me, saying: We were with Ruwayfi' ibn Thabit at the campaign of Jarbah, and he divided it among us, and Ruwayfi' said to us: "Whoever obtains any of these captives should not have intercourse with her until she menstruates, for I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'It is not lawful for a man to water his seed in the child of another.'"
